Nepal is endowed with enormous amount of water resources having the greatest potential for water resources and hydropower development in the region. This natural resources needs to be judiciously exploited for the betterment and the benefit of mankind beyond the boundary. The abundantly available water resources hold the key to overall development of Nepal. The hydropower potential of the nations needs to be harnessed in broadening the market that is developing in the domestic and regional areas for the prosperity of Nepal.

HYDRO Nepal, International Journal of Water, Energy and Environment, is published by MEDIA for ENERGY NEPAL PVT. LTD. twice a year in January and July. The journal is the first of its kind in Nepal and circulated internationally. The Journal provides a common platform to the professionals in contributing for a fruitful exchange of ideas, knowledge and insights for sound, sustainable and environmentally-friendly development of water resources and generation of hydroelectric power.
